I got 12th place in regions last year.  This year I got 3rd place and was the first PV girl.  I got "B" standard laces for Michigans!! :)

Wow, six.  I thought I could barely go 5, but I know I can now.  Six actually wasn't that bad, it went faster than I thought it would.  I am so proud of myself!

I don't know why, but this run was harder usual.  I ran with Mariah and did striders with her.

 

I ran with Breann on the way to Arctic Circle, got a drink, and ran with Taylor Boyer on the way back.  After, we had a super fun swimming party at Megan's pool.

I did the level 2 workout today, and ran with the level 2 girls.  I don't think I am ready to be a level 2, but I still run with them sometime.  It was a nice run.

Plus, the top of my right foot is hurting.... What do I do to make it feel better?

I like grass runs.  It always goes by way fast.  I loved the sprinker while doing striders.  And my foot didn't hurt as much, but it still hurt.  I ran with Mariah.  Kid's club was way fun.  It was sad for the kids that got 25.5 miles, because they didn't get a certificate.  (Taylor's little sister)  That made me way sad.  The race was awesome!!  I am excited to do this again next year!

I had no idea what I was doing on the way up the hill.  But when we got to the 5 mile piont, I understood.  So I don't think I did the run right.  I ran with Breann and Susan.  It was a nice run.

I am going to try to get one of my freshmen friends to come to afternoon practice today, her name is Kylie.  She probably won't come.

 

Afternoon practice was okay.  I ran with Breann.  She stopped twice so I had to run alone for a little while.  We stopped at Arctic Circle again to get a drink.

SEVEN MILES?!  What the?  Last week was my first time doing six, but now I can do seven?  On the way there, I ran with the level 2 girls, and  on the way back, I ran with Breann.  But the top of my foot began to hurt again on this run.  And we had to stop to get a drink.

I ran with Kailee, it was a pretty nice run.  On the way back Mariah and Breann ran with us. We also did striders.

I ran with Susan and Mariah.  I liked this run.  We stopped half way and got a drink, but I drank too much and felt sick on the way back.

It was a nice run.  I ran with Breann.  On the way back we ran through some sprinklers.  And it wasn't too hot either!  I liked todays run.

I ran with Mariah.  It was a pretty nice run except for the grass was just bearly mowed and our feet were wet.  We weren't hot until after striders, but the sprinklers turned off right when we were done with them.  It made me sad.

I ran with Mariah, Kailee G., and Megan, through most of the course.  It was a nice run.

I did the level 2 workout today, I ran with Mariah.  I finished the workout before the level 2 girls even got there.  We stopped at Chevron on the way back to get a drink of water.  If we are going to do those kind of workouts in the afternoon next week, I better drink more water!

We did the course that we are going to race tomorrow.  It was good, but it was super hot.  I ran with Kailee and Breann.  Than at the end I ran with Megan and Taylor.

We did the fundraiser for Megan.  I enjoy that run so much better in cooler weather.  I ran with Breann and Kailee.  It was a nice run.

This run was hard!  I for sure need to drink tons more water!  I just didn't feel good on this run.  Plus my knee started to hurt.  I ran with Breann.  We stopped at Arctic Circle for a drink.  After that is when my knee started to hurt.

I think I did ok on the time trial, I tried to keep up with Mariah, but I ended up running with Makayla.  My hip and knee hurt today for I don't know why.  My knee has been hurting since yesterday and today is when my hip started to hurt.

It was HOT today!  I stopped to get a drink on the way back.  My knee didn't hurt, but my hip still hurts a little.  I am going to drink tons more water tomorrow.

I did morning practice today!  I ran with Breann and Chancie on the way there, and then ran with the rest of the girls on the way back.  It was really nice weather.

It was a nice afternoon run.  We stopped for water twice.  Striders were good too.

I got 29th in the race, and 10th in just our school.  The time I got was 26:36:42 (or 26:46:32, I don't remember)  I ran with Chancie through most of it, but then I heard someone say to another girl, "Pass those 3 Pine View girls!"  It was near the end, so I started to push way super hard and she never passed me.  I passed 2 girls at the end of the race too.

I did morning practice.  It was a super nice run.  I ran with Mariah, Susan, and Chancie on the way there and on the way back, I ran with Taylor Boyer.

I ran with the level 2 jv girls today.  We stopped at the river, it felt really nice.  It was SO hot today!  I kind of fell behind at the very end though.  I will try to keep up with the level 2 jv girls soon.

I tried to keep up with Makayla, Taylor, and Kaelie today.  It was nice that we only had to do 2 1000's.  My first one I got 4:10, but the second time I got 4:16.  I got 6 seconds slower!  It seemed like I was going harder on the second one, but I guess I was tired.  Thanks for throwing my water bottle, Coach!

It was a nice morning practice.  I ran with all the girls (except for Varsity). 

This run was hard!  And it didn't help much that I was sore from yesterday.  I was always just a little bit behind on the whole run!  I will try to do better.

It was a nice grass run.  I like this run.  But the grass was warmer than usual.  It was really hot too.  I can't wait for cooler weather.

I did morning practice this morning!  It was nice.  I ran with Susan through most of it..... She has gotten much faster since the last time I ran with her!

I ran with Makayla and Kaelie.  It was a super nice run.  We only ran to Arctic Circle though, because tomorrow is the race and we did hard level 2 workouts this whole week.  Striders were good too.  I got over the fence for the first time without help!

It was a really good race.  I got 16 place, and that's the place I got last year when I got disqualified!  The time I got was 23:13:25.  I stayed with Kaelie at the beginning, then I passed her.  Then I caught with Mariah and ran with her pretty much the whole race.  Then we ended up passing Megan too.  I like this course.

I did morning practice!!!

I FELT HORRIBLE TODAY!!!  I even walked a little.  And we don't even know how far we went.  I ran with Taylor, Kaelie, Aubrey and Megan.  It was so hot!  My knees and hip hurt, but besides those things, this run was fantastic.

I don't know why, but I thought this run was easier than yesterday.  My first 1000 was 4:13, second 4:25, third 4:13.  But I felt kind of sick on the cool down.  But I think that was because I drank too much water.  I know it's weird, but I like doing fast but short runs.  Plus, my hip kind of hurts too, but my knee doesn't hurt as much any more.  What do I do to help it?

After practice I got new running shoes and spikes (that is why I am doing this so late).

I did 10ish miles (including this morning and warm up).  This run was hard plus it was hot.  But I still like shorter but faster runs more than big long runs.
