We went on a 4 mile run when we got there.... It was cold!  And It felt like I couldn't move my legs until the 3rd mile of the run.  The haunted "house" we went to made me panic... a lot.  It wasn't even that scary.  It was just late at night and I was tired.  We added some fartleks.  That's what killed me the most.  But the dinner we had after the run was super yummy!

(P.S. I guessed on my time)  Well, I would have to say this was my 2nd worst race I've had this season. (my 1st is Herriman)  I just couldn't go faster than workout pace.  I just kept on being past until the last stretch.  I didn't even want to know my place and my time.... I would think that my time was around 24 minutes.... but I guess I will never know.  Right when I passed the finish line, I started to cry.  I was trying to keep it together when Coach Roberts was talking to me, but when Taylor came and hugged me, I completely lost it.  But during the boys race, Finch threw off his gloves, so me and Taylor went and picked them up, and put one of his gloves on each of us.  We were hoping that it will give us super speed for our next race.  We'll see if it works in the Arizona race.

AM- I love how commited our girls team is...  I went to morning practice, but no girls showed up, so I just went home. (I might go running around my neighborhood, but if I can't find anybody to run with, I wont run this morning)

PM- Well I was told that we had morning practice... but oh well!  Shows that I am super commited to this sport!  This run was pretty good!  I ran with Kaelie for most of it, even though she hasn't ran for a while, she is still WAY good!  It was a way fun run!

AM- Easy 3!

PM- This workout was a blast!  It made me push hard to keep up....  I felt great for the 1st set!  Second set was a little slower, but I still ran hard!  Just the second 1000 we did, I went really slow, for I don't know why...  But overall, nice workout! :)

AM- Easy 3.

PM-  This run was awesome!!  I love easy mileage runs!  I felt cruddy the first half of the run, but the second half... I felt fantastic!  I finally decided that I want to get better, so when I got back, I stretched the heck out of my legs!  Felt amazing!

AM- Easy 3... it was so nice!  Taylor tried to freshman race me, but I didn't accept the challenge.  She said that was annoying. :)

PM- TIME TRIAL!  I was so excited for this!  I felt great!  I wish Mia was there so I can see I close I would have been to her.  I felt the best during the 1200's and the sprint in, the 800 I started to feel the pain, but alteast I pushed through it at the end!  I loved this time trial! :D

I love 1000's!  Pretty much the best workout in the world.  I kinda took this workout easier than the other one we've done, cuz coach said not to go and kill it.  So the whole time I kept on saying to myself not to kill it... My times were 3:40, 3:43, 3:46, and 3:50 something... I got slower every time.  :P But overall, good workout. :)

AM- easy 3... it's SO cold!!  I am gonna freeze!

PM-  I love easy runs... it feels good to take it a little slower every once and a while.  Striders were great!  I ran them with Little Taylor Boyer.  She is super fun to run with non competively. (is that how you spell it?)  I loved today's run!

AM- Easy 3!

PM- Today's run was the greatest!  All the girls ran together!  It was the best!  We ran into Washington.  200's were the best!  I just kept on getting faster and faster on each one!  It was awesome!  I felt fantastic!  I am so excited for the Arizona trip tomorrow!

I felt super good during the warm-up.  I was thinking positive about the race and just felt mentally strong.  Some of the girls had to go to the bathroom, so Stoner and I decided to go get our spot while we wait for them.  The announcer guy says that there is 5 minutes left until he starts our race, and the rest of the girls aren't even back from the bathroom.  That's when I started to feel super stressed out....  Then I started to feel nervous about the race, and my mental toughness is going down...  But like 2 minutes before we start, our girls finally show up.  He shoots the gun.  I didn't start out too great, and Taylor gets in front of me.  So I said to myself, "I have to beat Taylor!"  Then some girls get in front of me, and I started to think negative.  I never caught back up to Taylor, in fact I slowed down.  I tried to think positive, but all I could think of was that my legs were super tired, and my body got the best of me...  The last stretch was prolly my best part, I start my kick, and I see the girl in front of me.  So I made a goal to catch and beat her.  I finally pass her, and I hear a kid saying, "Beat this girl, she's not that far ahead of you!"  When I heard that, I said, "I am not letting her pass me!"  I beat her!  That was the highlight of my race!  Except for the choc. milk they gave us at the end. :)  That was a nice touch.

This was a really fun run!  I longovonge rongunongnonginonggong! :)  This was my second time I have ever ran this run!  It's tough!  But when you are done with the trail, it's supa' nice!  The team dinner was the best!  OH MY HECK!  I'm a team captain!  I am SO excited for next year!  I can't stop smiling!! :)

AM- Super great!  I love morning runs!

PM- This workout was kinda a hard mental day for me... My first 1000 was awesome!  But all the other ones, I just thought not-so-positive thoughts, so I slowed down.  The last one I started out great... but then I just let the gap grow and grow, and I slowed down a bunch.  I need to work on thinking positive!!!!!!

I ran with Maquel this morning.  It was a nice relaxing run.  We did striders at a park.  While we were doing the striders, the sprinklers turned on.... So we had to run on the wet grass.  It was supa' slippery and cold. :P

Kaelie, Chancie, and I ran at the high school.  We ran to Star Bucks.  When we got back to the high school, we drank some hot chocolate and at some donuts. :)  Plus I saw Devin there!  That was super awesome!

I ran with Kaelie this morning.  We went out to green springs.  On our way back, on the golf course of Green Springs, we saw JP mowing the lawn.  That was super great. :)

I was kinda' nervous for this all day, cuz we don't usually bring spikes to practice, unless it's a time trial, and we are done with those for this season, so....  During the DI warm-up, my legs felt like junk, that also made me think I was not gonna do so well in this timed mile.  Taylor said she felt great, so I was thinking that Taylor would beat me.  But I thought wrong!  I beat her!  That made me SO happy!  I ran with Preston for the whole thing, he's a good pace maker.  I couldn't really start my kick at the end until I had 50 yards left... But I guess I got a pretty good time for not running on the track for a whole season...  I feel good about it now, but I know I will get a faster time in the mile in track season.

We got our packets and stuff, and ran on the course, it was super muddy.... about ripped of my shoes.  The rain felt good.  Striders were great too.
